- HINT:
- Use these procedures to troubleshoot the engine immobiliser system.
- *: Use the Techstream.
- If the ignition switch cannot be turned to ON, communication with the Techstream can be performed by connecting the Techstream to the vehicle and turning a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.
1.VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP |

2.INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE |
- Standard voltage:
- 11 to 14 V
- HINT:
- A simple method to determine whether the battery is depleted is to operate the horn.

3.CRANK ENGINE FOR MORE THAN 10 SECONDS |

4.CHECK FOR DTC* |
Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output (Click here).
Based on the DTCs output above, proceed to each diagnostic procedure.
