1. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CASE OIL SEAL

  1. Using SST, remove the transmission case oil seal.

3. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL

  1. Using SST, remove the transaxle case oil seal.

4. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CASE OIL SEAL


    C156179E02

  1. Coat the lip of a new transmission case oil seal with MP grease.

  1. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the transmission case oil seal.

    Standard depth:
    9.4 to 10.4 mm (0.370 to 0.409 in.)

    NOTICE:
    Do not damage the oil seal lip.


5. INSTALL TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL

  1. Coat the lip of a new transaxle case oil seal with MP grease.

  1. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the transaxle case oil seal.

    NOTICE:
    Do not damage the oil seal lip.
