FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback Front Passenger Side) > INSTALLATION


CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (Click here). (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

NOTICE:
Always use E10 "TORX" socket wrench when removing the front seat assembly.


1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


  1. w/ Limit Switch:



      B291218E01

    1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Text in Illustration 
      *a
      		Convex

      Torque:
      42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

      NOTICE:
      Do not place the front seat inner belt assembly over the convex areas of the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. Install the front seat cushion inner shield. (Click here)



  1. w/o Limit Switch:



      B270851E02

    1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

      NOTICE:
      Do not place the front seat inner belt assembly over the convex areas of the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

    2. Engage the clamp.

  1. Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

  1. Engage the 2 hooks.



2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Torque:
5.4 N*m{ 55 kgf*cm , 48 in.*lbf }

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).


4. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)
