1. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE

  1. Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.

  1. Press down on the sender gauge claw labeled A. Then slide the sender gauge upward to remove it.

2. REMOVE SUB TANK SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the fuel pump connector.

  1. Using a small screwdriver, detach the claw on the end of the tube from the claw hole. Disconnect the tube from the 2 clamps.

  1. Disconnect the fuel tube.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws from the claw holes.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws from the claw holes and remove the sub tank.

    NOTICE:
    Do not damage the fuel sub tank.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


3. REMOVE FUEL PUMP

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 5 claws from the claw holes and disconnect the fuel pump from the suction plate with filter.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the fuel pump harness.

  1. Remove the O-ring and spacer from the fuel pump.
