- HINT:
- When removing the rear bumper protector, heat the rear bumper protector and rear bumper cover using a heat light.
- Standard:
Item Temperature Rear Bumper Protector 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) rear bumper cover 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
- NOTICE:
- Do not heat the rear bumper protector and rear bumper cover excessively.
1. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ License Plate Light) |
Disconnect the connector.
Using a screwdriver, remove the light as shown in the illustration.
2. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER COVER LH (w/o License Plate Light) |
Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear upper bumper cover.
3. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER COVER RH (w/o License Plate Light) |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR (w/o License Plate Light) |
Put protective tape around the rear bumper protector.
Using a moulding remover, detach the double-sided tape and remove the rear bumper protector.
5. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the 3 bolts and rear fog light.
6. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Outside Moulding) |
Remove the screw.
Detach the 5 clips and remove the side moulding.
8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Outside Moulding) |
