1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB |
Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.
- NOTICE:
- Do not touch the bulb glass.
2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB |
Turn the No. 2 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.
- NOTICE:
- Do not touch the bulb glass.
3. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB |
Turn the clearance light socket with the clearance light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.
Remove the clearance light bulb from the clearance light socket.
4. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHT BULB |
Turn the front side marker light socket with the front side marker light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.
Remove the front side marker light bulb from the front side marker light socket.
5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LENS |
Remove the 4 screws.

Using a T20H "TORX" driver, remove the "TORX" screw.
Using a dryer, heat the backside of the headlight unit.
- NOTICE:
- If the headlight is heated unevenly, it will deform or melt.
Disengage the 8 claws and remove the headlight lens.
- NOTICE:
- Wear rubber gloves when handling the headlight lens.
- Do not touch the lens or the aluminum surfaces with bare hands.
- If there are fingerprints on the aluminum surfaces, wipe them off with a soft cloth.
- If there are fingerprints on the back of the headlight lens, replace the headlight lens.
- Do not allow dirt or foreign matter to get on the headlight lens.
- HINT:
- If the lens cannot be removed even after heating, using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in tape, lift the lens. Be careful not to damage the headlight lens and housing.
6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LENS GASKET |
Remove the headlight lens gasket from the housing.
