1. INSPECT FRONT WINDOW DEICER SWITCH

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    3 (IG) - 6 (E)
    		Front window deicer switch on
    		Below 1 Ω
    3 (IG) - 6 (E)
    		Front window deicer switch off
    		10 kΩ or higher
    Text in Illustration

    		Component without harness connected
    (Front Window Deicer Switch)
    If the result is not as specified, replace the front window deicer switch.

  1. Apply battery voltage and check that the front window deicer switch indicator illuminates.

    Standard:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → 3 (IG)
    Battery negative (-) → 7 (D)
    		Front window deicer switch illuminates
