1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY
(Click here)


2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL LH (for LHD)


3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH (for LHD)

HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side (Click here).


4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH (for LHD)

HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side (Click here).


5. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH (for RHD)


6. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH (for RHD)


  1. for TMC, TMMR Made:

    1. Remove the 3 screws and front wheel opening extension pad RH.



  1. for TMMK Made:



      E301060

    1. Remove the 3 screws and front wheel opening extension pad RH.



7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH (for RHD)


  1. for TMC, TMMR Made:



      E231344

    1. Remove the clip.



      2. E226453E01

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees counterclockwise and remove the pin hold clip.

    3. Remove the 5 screws.

      		Grommet

    4. Remove the 4 clips, 2 grommets and front fender liner RH.

      HINT:
      The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.


  1. for TMMK Made:

    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees counterclockwise and remove the pin hold clip.

    3. Remove the 5 screws and bolt.

    4. Remove the 4 clips, 3 grommets and front fender liner RH.

      HINT:
      The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.


8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for LHD)

  1. Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front door scuff plate LH.



9. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH.



10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RHD)

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side (Click here).


11. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side (Click here).


12. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disengage the claw and 2 guides to disconnect the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.



13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly and remove the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.



14. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the hood lock nut cap.

  1. Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly and remove the hood lock assembly.



15. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the hood lock nut cap.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly and remove the hood lock assembly.



16. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 5 clamps and hood cable grommet as shown in the illustration.

  1. Pull the hood lock control cable assembly from the engine compartment and remove it.



17. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 clamps and hood cable grommet as shown in the illustration.
