REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE > REMOVAL

NOTICE:
If the left and right hoses are disconnected at the same time, be sure to place a mark on each hose to indicate its installation position.

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The following procedure is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL


2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTICE:
If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, immediately wash it off.


3. REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE

  1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake line while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not kink or damage the brake line.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line from the connecting points.
  1. Remove the clip from the rear flexible hose.

  1. Remove the bolt.

  1. Remove the union bolt, gasket and rear flexible hose.
